This is not a holiday cottage as such, I use it as my home and it is full of my own belongings. You are welcome to use anything you like, listen to my music, read our books etc I don’t mind , just let me know if anything is broken or missing.
There is plenty of clean bedding available but please bring your own towels.
The shop in the village ( 1 1/2 miles ) has basic groceries and newspapers but the nearest shops are at Pickering ( 10 miles ) so we always recommend you bring everything you need for your stay.
You are welcome to use anything in the cupboards ,there are plenty of basic food ingredients, cleaning stuff etc so just bring fresh food etc for your stay and replace anything you use another time or just let me know if anything is running out .
Plenty of coal and logs for the fire. Oil Stove or electric heaters will be on in winter .
It is difficult to get a mobile signal unless you walk up the hill .. There is no landline at the house.
You can use Wi Fi Calling or Internet
There is no TV ( or Licence ) but we have a high quality music system with vinyl turntable, CD digital radio, bluetooth connection etc and plenty of music to listen to.
Parking for one car at the back of the house - or in the street opposite at the front.

NO SMOKING OR CANDLES in house, back yard or summerhouse and garden
Dogs OK but please do not allow upstairs and be considerate to neighbours and sheep !
